All Ancestors Scene 2.0
Price range: $29.00 through $500.00
This photograph captures the breathtaking All Ancestors scene from Thoughts Become Things, filmed at Southlands Park in Warwick. Spanning 37 acres of natural beauty, Southlands holds more than 300 years of Bermudian history woven into its landscape. The location is home to Bermuda’s largest banyan grove, a remarkable formation created from just three interconnected trees, making it a powerful symbol of unity, growth, and shared roots.
In the film, this scene represents the moment when the young Bermudian Gombey encounters all of his ancestors together. Filming this moment within the banyan grove added a deeper layer of meaning, as the trees themselves mirror the idea of many branches emerging from a common source.
Featuring photography by Jayde Gibbons and printed locally in Bermuda, making each piece a direct extension of the community and culture that inspired the film. Available in multiple sizes and materials, including paper, metal, and canvas, this poster offers a timeless way to connect with the project.
Twenty percent (20%) of each sale goes directly back into the Thoughts Become Things project, helping to sustain its legacy and support the creation of future cultural work.
